Help Our Veterans. Donate Addiction Treatment Here
Several years ago, Judah Friedman wrote an article about his friend Eugene, a Gulf War Veteran, who had been having a difficult time getting help with his disabilities after the Gulf War. Realizing that the VA can only do so much, Judah made it his mission to help Vets with both PTSD and addiction issues. He recently mentioned the idea to Klean Treatment Center owner, Andrew Spanswick, who loved the idea, and the groundwork for Bed-For-A-Vet started.
There are over 14,000 addiction and mental health treatment facilities in the United States and through the cooperation and organization we can make a dent in the availability of treatment services for our veterans. We believe that this is a great way to complement the Veterans Administration which is already overwhelmed and underfunded.
It’s time we treat our troops with the same reverence that we treat our athletes and celebrities. Andrew Spanswick and Judah Friedman, the co-hosts of Klean Radio have decided to make it their goal to let no troops be left behind. While there are amazing organizations out there right now that are treating the visible wounds of our veterans, our goal is to treat the invisible wounds.
